About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, student and staff concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day campus operations by documenting incidents, assisting with directions and information, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders when needed.
