About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control and badge experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter zones.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or property concerns by maintaining a visible presence and communicating observations to property management and/or local responders when needed.
• Monitor the location for security-related concerns such as access issues, amenity disturbances, and/or resident assistance needs, while documenting activities and incidents in required reports.
