As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team culture while acting with integrity and helping create a welcoming environment through routine vehicle patrols and attentive presence.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and amenity areas, report maintenance or property-related issues observed during patrols, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
  • Support a welcoming residential environment by providing directions, assisting with routine questions, and reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.
