About The Position

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal in a government location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government utility location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with location procedures and government facility requirements.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, daily activities, and/or maintenance or operational concerns observed during patrols and interactions on site.
