As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control needs while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and/or restricted areas, verifying access permissions and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, assisting with traffic and/or visitor flow, and completing required reports, logs, and other assigned documentation.
