About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential apartment location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the apartment community, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Monitor access points and community amenities, assist with visitor and resident inquiries, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or property concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support a professional atmosphere at the location by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and communicating clearly with residents, guests, property management, and/or emergency personnel.
