As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will drive and patrol assigned areas, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to property guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, amenity spaces, and/or community grounds while assisting with visitor inquiries, resident concerns, and policy-related issues.
  • Document daily activities, unusual occurrences, and/or maintenance or security-related issues, and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.
