Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support retail operations by assisting with access control, customer inquiries, and/or incident reporting, and by communicating clearly with management regarding security-related concerns.
