About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail center. Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and assist guests with outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You’ll contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, innovation, and a people-first approach.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shopping center guests, tenants, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail areas, parking facilities, common areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, hazards, and policy violations, and document incidents according to location procedures.
- Assist with access control, crowd management, lost-and-found matters, and coordination with emergency responders and/or property management when appropriate.
