About The Position

The Security Operations Specialist provides on-the-ground security for CHAOS Industries and works alongside the contract security guard force. This role works the day shift and reports to the Physical Security Operations Manager. The position includes office patrols, access control, alarm and incident response, technical surveillance countermeasures sweeps, and support for emergency preparedness. Physical demands include standing, walking patrols, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Travel is not required.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person.
• Military security forces or similar experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with TSCM sweeps.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the office and check exits and cameras.
• Perform building walk-throughs and technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) sweeps, and document findings.
• Control building access, support badging, and manage visitor registration.
• Respond to alarms and incidents and prepare incident reports and patrol logs.
• Support alarm and guard response time testing and physical security checks.
• Participate in emergency drills and evacuations.
• Enforce CHAOS security policies and procedures.
• Work alongside the contract security guard force.
