About The Position

Securitas is looking to hire a Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer. The SOC Operator position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording, alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems, and emergency dispatch, incident reporting and analysis, and remote alarm panel programming. Requirements

  • 1–2+ years in SOC, security operations, dispatch, law enforcement, military, or a similar monitoring environment
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Experience with CCTV/VMS, access control, alarms, radios, intercoms, and security software
  • Strong written documentation and report-writing
  • Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating 24/7 shifts
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Ability to follow SOPs, escalation procedures, and confidentiality requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone)
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation Driver's License with a clean record
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Emergency Management, etc. is a plus
