Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support shoppers, tenants, and staff with strong communication and customer service. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs
- Customer service experience
- Comfort using a computer or tablet
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, local authorities, and/or store personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support order, assist with crowd flow, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations in accordance with post procedures.
