About The Position

As a Security Officer supporting a gated private community and commercial real estate location in Coto De Caza, California, you will help safeguard clients and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access and visitor activity, respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and document and communicate relevant activity in accordance with site procedures and established protocols.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and provide directions and assistance as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
