About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for a commercial real estate location in Coto De Caza, California. The officer will safeguard the property through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $22.50 per hour. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screen, to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable law.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
- Monitor access activity and verify visitor and contractor authorization according to site policies; report unauthorized access concerns.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following post orders and escalation procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs covering patrol observations, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.
