About The Position

As a Security Officer Luxury Home Apartments Foot Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by monitoring access points, observing community conditions, and addressing unusual or suspicious behavior in accordance with post instructions.
• Support property operations by documenting daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and communicating relevant information to the appropriate contacts.
