About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a temporary Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Officers respond calmly and constructively to incidents and critical situations and conduct regular and random patrols around client businesses and their perimeters. Work environments and conditions vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
