As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Unit in Monaca, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with visitor processing, credential checks, and/or vehicle screening procedures.
Support site emergency and evacuation protocols by directing people, controlling access to affected areas, and relaying critical information during security-related incidents and/or operational disruptions.
