About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is looking for a Response Security Officer to join their team. This role requires adaptability and the ability to handle various duties such as customer service, patrols, and surveillance. As a casual Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, we need you to adapt with agility and precision. This position offers a set schedule with multiple shifts available, guaranteed minimum hours, and weekend availability. Additional requirements include having a working phone, willingness to pick up shifts, travel to multiple sites, and provide call-off coverage. Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
• Perform access control by monitoring entry and exit points
• Operate metal detection equipment and conduct security screenings as required
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• Must have a working phone
• Willing to pick up shifts
• Travel to multiple sites
• Provide call-off coverage when needed
• Must be available for all days/shifts
• Must be available for at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
