As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be willing and able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility policies, reporting unusual conditions and/or policy concerns.
  • Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in alignment with Allied Universal and location procedures.
