About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a full-time Security Officer for a school in Everett, MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in educational settings. As an unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will support students, staff, and visitors through professional communication and customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or families by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established school and Allied Universal protocols.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests, and report access-control concerns to designated personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to school administration and/or Allied Universal leadership.
