About The Position

As a Security Officer in Lobby Operations at a financial institution in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, you will serve as the welcoming first point of contact and help maintain a professional, secure environment. The role emphasizes customer service, communication, access control, and observation. You will address security-related concerns, stay aware of activity at the location, and represent Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

This is a full-time position paying $17.21 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, employees, and vendors professionally and provide exceptional front-desk customer service.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to site-specific policies.
• Answer incoming calls, provide basic information, and communicate visitor arrivals or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
• Remain aware of front-desk activity and report suspicious activity, policy concerns, and security-related incidents to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
