Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bozeman, Montana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is full-time, with the listed schedule of Tuesday 11:00 AM–5:30 PM, Thursday 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, and Saturday 11:00 AM–11:00 PM. Pay is $24.00 per hour.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, receiving areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
- Help deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through a professional presence.
- Document incidents accurately and completely.
