About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Reporting in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report security-related concerns, and assist with maintaining an orderly learning environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
