As a Security Officer Secret Clearance Required Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporting in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
A Guard Card/license is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident records.
Maintain a professional presence while following post orders, applicable protocols, and communication procedures.
