As a Security Officer Secret Clearance Required Unarmed Patrol Incident Reporting in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident records.
  • Maintain a professional presence while following post orders, applicable protocols, and communication procedures.
