Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Verify visitor identity, review access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communications systems from the front desk, escalating unusual activity or access concerns according to established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence, controlling entry, and providing directions and assistance to authorized individuals.
