As a Security Officer Driver Route Patrol in Mililani, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access and visitor interactions as directed, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
