About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will conduct routine patrols, primarily driving throughout assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. The position is full time and pays $21.00 per hour. The posted schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Maintain a visible presence while primarily driving throughout assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents.
• Report observations and communicate effectively.
