Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol in San Antonio, Texas, to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location. The officer conducts vehicle and foot patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. The schedule is Monday from 4:15 PM to 11:30 PM and Thursday through Sunday from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Pay is $15.50 per hour. The role includes providing customer service while following security procedures and site policies; responding professionally to incidents and emergencies; observing and reporting unusual activity; and completing required patrol and incident documentation. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law and must participate in industry-specific security training.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Texas Level III Armed Certification.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events according to established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to store leadership and/or emergency responders.
- Maintain incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
