Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor or contractor badges as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gates, and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, access issues, and/or policy violations in outdoor and industrial work areas.
Document daily activity, visitor logs, deliveries, and incident details, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding access requests, escalations, and other security-related concerns.
