About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in New York, NY, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, supporting access control, and assisting with loss prevention activities. You will provide customer service and clear communication while reporting security-related concerns. The role includes a daytime schedule Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and pays $19.48 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to customers, team members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and problem-solve when addressing incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, exits, receiving areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, customer, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with company and site requirements.
