As a Security Officer Full Time Retail Parking Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. You will report security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and other policy violations through visible presence and timely reporting.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and maintenance or property concerns in accordance with site procedures.
