As a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Patrol- Parking in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine bike patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will use communication and customer service skills to report security-related concerns and respond professionally. Requirements

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas; report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to established procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence at the property and provide directions, information, and support to occupants and guests.
