About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, professionalism, and integrity while responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or conditions, and document incidents accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff, local responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed to support a secure and welcoming environment.
