About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and/or the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor management processes in alignment with site policies.
- Assist with routine inspections of the location and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
