About The Position

As a Security Officer - Distribution Center in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor processing, deliveries, and other security-related support functions in accordance with site expectations.
Observe and report conditions involving property, equipment, and/or personnel, and communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and emergency responders when needed.
