About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This position provides reliable hours at an assigned healthcare site, with an anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The employee may also claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the option to increase hours up to 40 per week or scale back. The listed pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The role serves patients, visitors, staff, and vendors and involves armed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and documentation.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, coordinating with hospital personnel and public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry into restricted areas according to site-specific procedures.
• Accurately and promptly document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.
