About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Operations in Dayton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a welcoming, professional environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and documenting arrivals and departures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident logs; issue and recover authorized access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
