Requirements

Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail apparel location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, stock areas, employee spaces, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe customer, visitor, and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
