About The Position

As a Security Officer in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access logs for people, vehicles, and deliveries at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify unusual activity, and report maintenance and/or security-related issues.
• Support daily operations at a food and beverage location by following post orders, assisting with traffic flow at gates and loading areas, and communicating clearly with staff, contractors, and/or guests.
