About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Role Patrol in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public utility facilities, offices, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency procedures as directed.
