As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Rounds in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a positive experience through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify entry and exit activity, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
• Observe package handling, dock operations, and surrounding areas for policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior, then report findings through appropriate channels.
