As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and personnel with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and support access-related procedures while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to facilities, check credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and logs related to patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.
