As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor entry points and screen employees, visitors, and/or vendors in accordance with established access protocols and reporting procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the lobby, business areas, and perimeter, with attention to access control points and other security-related concerns.
  • Prepare clear, timely documentation of screening results, incidents, and/or daily activity logs in line with site expectations and Allied Universal standards.
