As a Security Officer Badge Desk Coordinator in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, monitor access activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and attentive service. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, greet employees and guests, verify identification and/or credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with location guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or location contacts as needed.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, support badge and key control processes, and complete required reports related to front desk activity and other security-related matters.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a visible front desk presence, observing surrounding activity, and reporting concerns, hazards, and/or policy issues promptly.
