About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Digital Reporting in Parsippany, New Jersey, you will serve and safeguard clients at a hospitality location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas as an unarmed officer, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, communicate professionally with guests and staff, and document observations using a computer or tablet. The role emphasizes customer service, integrity, and teamwork.

This is a full-time position paying $18.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, public spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter; identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management practices in accordance with property policies.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
