As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol First Aid in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns, report observations, and collaborate with site personnel and the community. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, pedestrian access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity throughout assigned locations, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with transit personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public.
