As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Response in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic university location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience are required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and required daily logs while maintaining a professional presence in a university environment.
