About The Position

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Gas Company in Everett MA. As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-oriented culture. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, helping to identify unusual conditions and unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, following visitor-management procedures, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
