As a Security Officer Screener in Zionsville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen packages and/or individuals, and support day-to-day security-related operations. This role combines visibility, communication, and attention to detail while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen associates, visitors, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or shipment documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting security-related operations and site needs.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for conditions that could impact daily operations.
