Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or visitor access permissions, and help to document arrivals, departures, and deliveries according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, and support access control processes for employees, guests, and vendors while maintaining awareness of front lobby conditions.
  • Prepare clear reports related to incidents, visitor activity, and/or daily front desk operations, and help to follow post orders and client-directed procedures.
